How to apply:

For online application, the applicants may log on to the college website www.ggdcgopi2.ac.in  and follow the following steps:

  1. Before filling up, keep the Scanned copy of your recent passport colour size photograph & signature [photo size below 50kb, signature size below 40kb].

 

  1. Go to the ADMISSION HOME PAGE

3. Click on Register Now. Register yourself using Name, Date of Birth, E-mail & Mobile no.

4. Note down Registration no. & Password for future reference.

5. Login to your account using Registration no. & Password.

 

6. Apply now:          

STEP-1: ENTER PERSONAL INFORMATION & ADDRESS DETAIL

                      STEP-2: ENTER ACADEMIC DETAILS (H.S/EQUIVALENT EXAM)

                      STEP-3: UPLOAD SCANNED PHOTOGRAPH & SIGNATURE.

                      STEP-4: SELECT COURSE AND SUBJECT

                      STEP-5: RECHECK THE ENTRY & SUBMIT FINALLY

 

7. Payment option:  REGISTRATION FEES FOR ONLINE APPLICATION –Rs.40.00 only.

8. Enter bank transaction detail online.

9. After final submission take the print out of the submitted form, paste photograph, signed in appropriate places.

10. Keep the printed/ hardcopy of the duly filled form along with the following documents with you. These documents will be verified and be taken at the time of admission.

  1. Eligibility criteria for admission in B.A./B.Sc (Hons.)

 

Candidates passing Higher Secondary Examination conducted by West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education or any other equivalent board/council (List of the board/councils are listed below) in the year (2016/2017/2018) are eligible to apply for Honours course in 1. Bengali, 2. English, 3. Sociology 4. Anthropology, 5. Geology, 6. Zoology provided that the candidate must have passed in 5(Five)/ 4(Four) (where applicable) recognized subjects including at least one language subject with at least 45% marks in aggregate or 50% marks in subjects or related subjects in the qualifying examination.

  1. Eligibility criteria for admission in B.A./B.Sc (General.)

        Candidates passed the Vocational Course can apply in General Course only

 

A CANDIDATE PASSING 10+2 LEVEL BEFORE 2016 WITH ABOVE MENTIONED CRITERIA CAN ALSO APPLY THROUGH OFFLINE MODE (Approaching College Admission Cell) AFTER GETTNG SPECIAL PERMISSION FROM THE SECRETARY, U.G. COUNCIL VIDYASAGAR UNIVERSITY, MIDNAPORE.

Merit Point Calculation:

 

Merit Point = X+Y for Honours Course applicants

  • X = 10 percent of marks in aggregate in the 10+2 level exam counting the total marks of the Best of Five Subjects  among the subjects studied excluding the marks of environmental studies / science.

 

  • Y= marks obtained in the applied subject as Hons, If that subject is not studied, consider the marks of one subject as indicated in the table:

Follow Step-1, Fill up details of personal information

Follow Step-2, enter the details of last exam passed and Step-3, upload your scanned photograph and signature (** as per mentioned size)

Step 4 - Select the subjects for which you want to apply through ADD button

 

Recheck the details and submit.

Pay requisite fees through online portal

After final submission take the print out of submitted form, paste photograph, signed in appropriate places

Keep  the printed/ hardcopy of the duly filled form along with the self-attested required documents with you which will be required for the admission after  online counseling.
